A Little Bit About Joshua
Mr. Ruback attended Florida State University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Sociology and religion in 2002. The Following year, Mr. Ruback went to work with his father Alan S. Ruback, a well established Attorney with a practice solely dedicated to Social Security Disability Law, and obtaining Disability Insurance Benefits and Supplemental Security Income benefits for those in need for over 30 years throughout Florida.
In 2007 Mr. Ruback was given the opportunity to work for the Law Offices of Marder, Gonzalez and Goetz whose practice was also solely dedicated to Social Security Disability Law. Mr. Ruback worked face to face with applicants on a daily basis assisting with both the completion of initial filings as well as completion of the necessary appeal paperwork such as Request for Reconsiderations, Request for Hearings, as well as Request for Reviews to the Appeals Council.
After several years working with Marder, Gonzalez and Goetz, the firm restructured and out of the four fully operational offices Mr. Ruback was the sole employee asked to remain where he helped establish the Law Office of Gonzalez and Goetz from the ground up; also a firm founded and solely dedicated to Social Security Disability Law.
In addition to continuing to meet with applicants on a daily basis, Mr. Ruback was responsible for appealing the firms unfavorable Hearing decisions by preparing lengthly memorandums of law to the Appeals Council often resulting in Remand or Reversal at a rate far greater than that of the national average. This work allowed Mr. Ruback a unique perspective into Social Security Regulations and Ruling, and what transpires during the Hearing prior to stepping into a court room setting. In 2011, after working in the field for almost 10 years, Mr. Ruback obtained a licensure from the Social Security Administration designating him a Certified Disability Advocate and specialist in the field of Social Security Law. Since this time Mr. Ruback has appeared hundreds of times in front of Federal Administrative Law Judges thought the nation where he has successfully represented his clients at a rate that again far exceeds that of the national average. Mr. Ruback is a native to South Florida and sincerely enjoys assisting individuals who are unable to help themselves which is obvious in the approach he takes toward his work.
